Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own and drive overall revenue growth across all event verticals
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through new client acquisition and account expansion
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong and consistent sales pipeline
- Lead client acquisition and manage relationships with CXOs, Marketing Heads, HR Heads, and senior decision-makers
- Handle high-value negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
- Manage key and strategic accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Develop and execute sales strategies, market expansion plans, and go-to-market initiatives
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities
- Build, lead, and mentor the business development team
- Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the BD team
Requirements :
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations
- Drive accountability, productivity, and a high-performance, target-driven sales culture
- Support the team during pitches, key client meetings, and closures when required
- Work closely with production, creative, operations, and finance teams to ensure feasible and profitable proposals
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution with strong focus on client satisfaction
- Prepare revenue forecasts, MIS, and performance reports for management review
- 9–12 years of experience in business development, sales within the events, experiential, advertising, or media industry
- Proven experience in handling and scaling a business development/sales team
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing large corporate accounts and long sales cycles
- Strong understanding of B2B sales dynamics and corporate client management
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Compensation Package (Indicative):
- CTC: ₹15–20 LPA
- Performance-linked incentives / commissions extra based on revenue and closures
